PLAYER Registration for the 2026 season OPEned on 1st November 2025. THERE IS A $20 EARLY BIRD DISCOUNT FOR REGISTRATION PRIOR TO 31ST DECEMBER.

 

VOLUNTEER registrations also opened on 1 November. We encourage all parents/adult family members to register through PlayHQ as volunteers.

 

TEAM MANAGERS must register for the season through PlayHQ.

 

COACHES must register for the season through CoachAFL.

 

A Working with Children’s certificate is mandatory for all volunteers at the club.

PLAYING FEES - SEASON 2026 

Brunswick JFC aims to keep football as affordable as possible and encourage participation while still providing a high quality experience. For this season we are also rolling from three fee tiers to two to be in line with the YJFL fees. ​

​​​Fees incorporate the Yarra Junior Football League’s annual fee (which covers e.g. umpiring costs, insurance, game day medics and administration costs) and the Brunswick Junior Football Club’s fee (which covers e.g. equipment, storage, ground hire, utilities, trophies and medals; and the use of a playing jumper for the season). Please remember - we are a volunteer-run club, your fees cover some of our expenses but we need all families to contribute each year on game day and in other roles to keep our club alive.

Subsidised fees

We recognise that times are tight and cost of living pressures can sometimes mean that family budgets are re-prioritised. Fees can be paid in instalments through the Play HQ website.
 

The club intends on applying to be a Get Active Kids provider in January 2026. If you are eligible for a Get Active Kids $200 voucher and will be waiting to register for BJFC once we are an approved provider, please let our registrar know so that we can save you a spot in your team!

Payment plans and subsidised fees are available for families that may require financial assistance. We want to ensure all kids have the opportunity to play our great game and remove the financial barriers to footy. ​
